Mumbai Digital Films Academy was  founded on the 
philosophy that "learning by doing"  combined  with 
best industry practices is more  valuable than  years 
of theoretical study for filmmakers and actors. Learning by Doing.
The Mumbai Digital Films Academy,   film institute 
programs are designed for   a  new  generation  of 
storytellers: visual artists who share a passion  for 
motion pictures and want to learn by making their
 own projects in a hands–on, intensive program.

As technology  changes  so do our  courses.  We  incorporate   digital  elements  
in  all our  training  but  remain primarily geared   around  working with professional  
35mm and   16mm   film   to         ensure  experience gained by our students  is as 
close to the professional film–making world as possible.. Whatever the changes in 
technology, the language and grammar of making films always remain the same .
